The longest covered bridge in the world is at Hartland; northwest of Fredericton; the picturesque capital with fine 19th century architecture. Go salmon fishing on the Miramichi River; eat lobster at Shediac near Moncton. The city of Saint John has the Reversing Falls where the tide from the Bay of Fundy reverses the flow of the St. John river.
