Bellingham Travel Overview

Bellingham is a small city(around 40;000); about 80 miles North of Seattle and 20 miles South of the Canadian border.  Tho' there are many natives; walking around you will certainly have trouble finding anyone between the ages of 15 and 30 who hasn't moved in.  Bellingham is a broke travellers paradise; with wonderful beach front squatting available and plenty of warm; friendly people to shoot the breeze with.  Looking for a place to grab a drink; the Horseshoe Cafe on Railroad Ave. has the best cheese fries and a great bar.  More the coffee type; try a locally brewed Tony's Coffee; available at Stuart's; a local haunt with plenty of free live music and poetry nights or the Black Drop; a quiet place to meet plenty of outgoing locals.
